In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top communication apps on the Android platform in Russia demonstrated varied performance trends, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Telegram saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 395K in the final week of December. Throughout the quarter, active users remained relatively stable, oscillating around 87M.

WhatsApp Messenger experienced a noticeable increase in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 411K in early November. Its active user base showed a slight increase, maintaining figures around 88M to 89M.

Snapchat had a steady download rate, with a notable rise in the last week of December, hitting 171K. Active users showed a peak of approximately 4.7M in late October, followed by a decline towards the end of the quarter.
